The Auditor-Controller for the County of Ventura is currently seeking a Senior Program Administrator. Working under the general direction of the General Accounting Chief Deputy, the ideal candidate will possess knowledge of large-scale automated business systems and the accompanying security systems and methods; experience in project management; ability to assess technology risk and develop audit and advisory plans; strong analytical skills; ability to think critically and quickly identify solutions to maintain system integrity; and excellent customer service skills. This ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, necessary to work with a variety of partners including both technical and non-technical system users as well as the desire to grow into a leadership role.
Considerable experience working with large-scale computer applications.
The required knowledge, skills and abilities can be obtained by the equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting or other related field and three (3) years of experience providing technical support to customers for a large-scale computer system or application.
DESIRED: Experience developing, implementing, and/or supporting large-scale financial management, procurement, budget, payroll, time attendance, or human resources systems in a multidisciplinary environment.
