The Department of Human Resources is pleased to recruit for the position of Senior Human Resources Analyst. This position performs a wide range of duties managing an unpredictable workload and changing priorities in the Employee Relations Division. Senior Human Resources Analyst provides professional and expert support to liaison Departments by advising them on a wide variety of employee relations issues. This position must work independently to perform a variety of tasks related to employee relations such as: conduct investigations; write simple and complex reports; assist departments with disciplinary actions; review and provide assistance with employee performance evaluations; draft memorandums and other professional correspondence; coach employees and supervisors; mediate conflict; interpret and apply City policy, applicable Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), as well as state and federal labor laws; facilitate the grievance process; conduct Interactive Processes for reasonable accommodation requests; respond to outside agency requests; and provide professional guidance and advice to all levels of the organization on a daily basis.
