SACOG is seeking a Senior Communications Analyst to join our fast-paced team. Working in a collaborative environment, the Senior Communications Analyst will develop and oversee the communications across multiple SACOG projects and lead the communications team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Communicating projects, programs, and ideas
Developing original written and visual content for various audiences, including persuasive writing, speeches, and talking points
Developing and implementing marketing campaigns and materials (press releases, infographics, videos, public relations plans, and media plans)
Media planning and coordination, including press conferences, press releases, and media relations
Developing content for marketing and communications initiatives for diverse audiences
Curating website content
Development and implementation of website analytics evaluation plan
Oversight and content development for social media platforms and newsletter
Budget and contract management
Event coordination for audiences of 50 to 1,000
Advising team managers on presentations and reports
Directly supervising two or more communications team members and interns
Managing large, complex, and multi-disciplinary communications projects
Managing and planning for multiple stakeholder interests, with a high level of technical expertise and acumen in support of management and/or Board of Director priorities, strategic initiatives, and/or directives

The Senior Communications Analyst must have prior project and talent management experience and the ability to effectively engage the strengths of individuals within the team, develop and foster professional growth. BA/BS degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or related field
At least three years managing individuals or teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident, detail-oriented, proactive, with proven ability to effectively take ownership, organize work tasks, manage staff, and meet multiple deadlines
Fast, efficient, and flexible with effective problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
At least five years of experience in strategic communication planning, implementation, and evaluation, or closely related field
At least 4 years of experience in team and project management
Masters degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or related field
