The Public Works Department is organized across three Divisions: Engineering, Maintenance and Transportation. Engineering consists of the Capital Improvement Plan, Utilities and Development Services sections. This position will be assigned to the Capital Improvement Plan or Utilities section yet will be flexible over time.


Menlo Park is seeking well-rounded engineering professionals with exceptional technical and project management skills. Public sector experience or a combination of public and private sector experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of professional engineering experience, including two years of service in a supervisory or lead capacity, and a bachelor’s degree. Possession of a State of California Registered Professional Civil Engineer license is required.
