The City of Ventura is hiring!  We have an immediate vacancy for a Senior Accountant in the Finance Department. Come join our team as we align our workforce to better serve our community together – they're counting on us. 

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional who has a strong background in general ledger accounting.   This team member will perform a wide variety of highly responsible professional accounting activities including the analysis and maintenance of accounting systems, records, and reports, in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury/revenue services, fixed assets, grant reporting and general ledger.  If you have the desire to join an exemplary customer service team, dedicated to operating at a high level of accuracy, this position may be for you! 

The City offers a total compensation package that includes both a generous salary plus excellent benefit! Salary: $79,673.57 - $106,763.49 Annually DOQ.
