Salary Information:  $6,746 - $9,266/Mo.

 

The County Administrator's Office is seeking three talented and experienced professionals to assist with the oversight of the County's recovery efforts related to the October 2017 fires. Under the leadership of the Board of Supervisors and the Director of the newly created Office of Recovery and Resiliency Recovery, Coordinators will be responsible for the County's recovery efforts related to Housing, Economic Recovery, Safety Net, and/or Infrastructure. Based on areas of assignment, prior experience and proven success in the following areas are highly desirable:
 

  • Housing finance and development, affordable and market rate housing development, public/private partnership "P3" development, sustainable/zero-net energy housing, and permit and land-use processes
  • Economic development agencies/organizations within Sonoma County, State and Federal economic development resources, business incentives supporting small business, workforce development, and policies for business attraction and retention
  • Engaging directly with the community including immigrant and undocumented populations, coordination with service providers to enhance local services and resources, increase protections for families and individuals, and advocacy for greater State and Federal resources
  • Assessing infrastructure impacts from disasters, clean up and repair, increased investment to create more resilient communication and transportation infrastructure, and securing resources for long-term infrastructure investments
