The Chief must also display a genuine concern for people in the organization as well as the community. Competitive candidates will offer education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree and extensive municipal policing experience, including five years of supervisory/management experience with at least two years as a Deputy Police Chief/Captain or equivalent. Master’s degree and/or completion of executive-level training desirable.
