SALARY: $7,189 - $8,738 monthly
The City of Colton seeks a talented and motivated Planning Manager to serve as a key member of the Colton team by performing the full array of duties assigned to classes in the Planning series including a variety of supervisory, administrative and technical work in the current and long-range planning programs of the city related to the development and implementation of land use and related municipal plans and policies.
Ideal candidates will have strong public speaking skills; writing skills; knowledge of California planning and environmental laws; problem solving skills and the ability to supervise technical and professional staff.
To be considered for this position you will need to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Urban or Regional Planning or closely related field; possess a minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience in professional government planning. An AICP certification is highly desirable.
