ABOUT THE POSITION:  The Human Resources Division is recruiting for experienced analysts to perform complex professional level public personnel work for the Employment Services Unit. This HR analyst position will receive direction from the Personnel Analysts III’s and Principals. The Personnel Analyst II will work as an HR generalist with responsibilities in recruiting and developing examinations, conducting HR related training, advising management on employment matters such as employee performance, employee leave, and reasonable accommodation requests, and researching and interpreting county policies, MOU's, employment laws, and county ordinances. These positions work 8:00 am ‐ 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and may occasionally require overtime. Human Resources is a fast‐paced, high volume work environment with strict deadlines to meet the needs of County departments. Individuals must be computer savvy, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel. The ability to work in a fast‐paced environment with multiple priorities is a must.
