The state of California could soon have a major headache on its hands.
Under general supervision, participates in the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the City’s computing network and systems; analyzes, designs, tests, installs, and maintains information systems programs, applications and hardware; installs and provides routine technical assistance and user training for PC hardware and software; perform a wide variety of technical duties involved in installation, repair, and maintenance of networked computers, phone systems, and equipment; and performs related duties as assigned.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, management information systems or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree can be substituted with five or more years of progressively responsible work experience in information technology.
Experience: Two years of progressively responsible work experience in information technology.
License; Certificates; Special Requirements: A valid Class C California driver’s license. Work may be required on evenings, weekends and holidays. Position may require on-call status during non-office hours for emergencies.
