The County of Marin is announcing a recruitment for the position of Human Resources Analyst I/II in the Administration Unit of Health & Human Services. This vacancy may be filled at the Human Resources Analyst I or II level.
The H&HS Human Resources Analyst is responsible for performing professional human resources services for the department of Health & Human Services. The Analyst works closely with department managers, supervisors and employees in the interpretation and application of personnel policies and regulations, counseling managers and employees on human resources procedures and practices, and performing a variety of analytical studies and projects. Depending on the area of assignment, the Analyst may prepare and conduct recruitments, perform classification and compensation studies, participate in and support negotiations with County unions and associations, develop and conduct training, provide support to departments in employee performance, and conduct and/or generate and analyze complex reports on human resources information.
