Health Services Workforce Education & Training Analyst

Salary Information:  $92,125 - $111,994/Annually


The County is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic health professional to fill a position in the Behavioral Health Division.

This position will manage, supervise, coordinate, and monitor all activities related to the Behavioral Health workforce education and training program, including those related to Mental Health Services Act. The education and training program is designed to address the shortage of qualified individuals who provide services in the County of Sonoma's public behavioral health system. 
Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Developing and implementing career development strategies to increase the workforce pipeline
  • Diversifying the behavioral health workforce, including increasing the peer workforce
  • Monitoring and tracking the clinical hours of the division's numerous Associate Social Worker and Marriage Family Therapist Intern staff
  • Managing and monitoring requirements related to state regulations, board licensure, and credentialing to ensure staff meet the job specifications, work within their scope of practice, and are eligible to claim for provided services
  • Providing clinical supervision and assuming other supervisory responsibilities as needed

A bill introduced by Senator Ricardo Lara (D-Bell Gardens) last week would eliminate much of the power cities currently have to regulate local street vending, essentially legalizing the practice st
