The primary focus of the Health and Human Services Agency Director position is to provide centralized administration, executive leadership, and operational direction to the service branches through a core team of Branch Directors and administrative professionals. The Director has oversight of the Agency budget which has multiple funding sources, with complex contractual and compliance requirements. Management and motivation of a large and diverse workforce providing effective service delivery through a network of works sites throughout the geographical county is a core function of the position. The Director ensures through project management and implementation planning that Agency goals and objectives, including mandated and regulatory outcomes, are achieved.
