Supported by a team of 24, the Finance Department encompasses Finance (treasury services, financial services, accounts receivable/payable, purchasing, customer service, cashiering, water billing, payroll, and financial reporting) and Information Technology services. Reporting to the City Manager, the Director also serves as City Treasurer.
Tustin is seeking a visionary leader who is well-versed in all aspects of local government finance. A skilled strategic thinker, he/she will be an exceptional problem solver with impressive project management experience. The ideal candidate will also be a strong and inclusive people manager with the proven ability to inspire and mentor. Competitive candidates will offer at least seven years of experience, including four years of service in a management/ supervisory capacity, and a bachelor’s degree. A master’s degree is desirable.
