The City of Shasta Lake is seeking a skilled, hands-on Finance Director to plan, organize, manage, and direct the fiscal, HR and administrative functions of the Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional well versed in Federal, State, and Local laws. It is essential the selected individual know governmental accounting; principles of budgeting and revenue enhancement; budget preparation and control; and budget forecasting. Strong customer service and utilities background is highly desired. A skilled communicator who is able to relay information concerning the department's budget and explain complex fiscal matters to a variety of audiences will be valued. The Finance Director works closely with City staff and is a key member of the leadership team. The City seeks an individual who will excel in developing and mentoring staff and maintaining an effective work team.
