The City of Ventura is hiring!  We are looking for an experienced Emergency Services Manager to join the team.  We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional with proven expertise in emergency program management able to integrate the activities of multiple departments and organizations into one common vision and direction.  If you the desire to join a dedicated team committed to the service and protection of employees and citizens, this position may be for you!
Reporting to the Chief of Police or his designee, the Emergency Services Manager will be responsible for facilitating all Emergency Management programs and training for City Staff to be best prepared to serve the community as Disaster Service Workers during a disaster or crisis.  This manager will update and maintain the City’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), Hazard Mitigation Plan and Continuity of Operations Program ensuring plans meet and/or exceed the state and federal requirements.  The Emergency Services Manager will author emergency management policy, grant proposals and preparedness training.  

The City offers a total compensation package that includes both a generous salary plus excellent benefit! Salary: $97,543.47 - $130,709.90 Annually DOQ.
