EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Five (5) years of full-time experience performing progressively responsible professional, managerial, administrative, personnel and technical duties in an election capacity including three years of supervisorial duties of permanent staff in an election setting. Possession of a valid California Class C driver license, which must be kept valid throughout the term of employment. Incumbent must be able to travel independently throughout the County. This is an at-will position which serves at the pleasure to the Registrar of Voters and is exempt from Civil Service provisions. POSITION COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Salary: $117,506. – $144,841 ANNUALLY DOE/DOQ, this salary range reflects the negotiable range for hire. The top of the range for salary advancement is $172,183. In addition, and in the interest of attracting the best talent to the organization, the County may provide reimbursement for reasonable relocation expenses, and at the discretion of the CEO and Board of Supervisors, housing and student loan offsets, cash incentives, and/or vacation and sick leave pre-accruals.
