San Joaquin County, a dynamic, multi-ethnic community of approximately 750,000, is looking for its next Director of Human Resources. The County is a unique blend of urban, suburban and agricultural and offers an excellent quality of life for its residents.
The Director will manage all aspects of the Human Resources Department including providing advisory support to the County Administrator and County department heads. The next Director will be a person who embraces innovation and can help move the County toward several new initiatives in HR. Superior labor relations and negotiation skills are critical in this role.
The County seeks a leader who can create, sell and implement a vision of service for human resources. This individual will have a keen desire to see staff flourish and grow. The successful candidate will enjoy the support and help of a committed staff who are supportive of the Director of Human Resources success.
