The City Attorney's Office is seeking a well-qualified individual to fill one (1) litigation vacancy handling civil litigation matters including: general civil actions, code enforcement matters, and municipal code violations. The ideal candidate for this position requires significant civil litigation experience, experience in municipal law, and primary responsibility for undertaking all aspects of the litigation process. Appellate and jury trial experience are highly desirable.
 
Education/Experience:
Possession of an appropriate law degree from an accredited college or university that entitle a candidate to sit for the California Bar Examination.  Two years of professional legal experience in a public agency setting is desirable.
 
Other Requirements:
  - Valid California driver's license.
  - Current member of the California State Bar Association (in good standing).
