About the District:  The District is a regional greenbelt system in the Santa Cruz Mountain region comprised of over 63,000 acres of land in 26 extraordinary open space preserves, permanently protected for public enjoyment and recreation. The District is a growing organization with a focused mission that guides our work, and where every employee makes an impact.  If you are looking for an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the legacy of open space protection and outdoor recreation, working with an incredible team of like-minded colleagues, we invite you to apply for this position!  We invite you to view our Working for Midpen video on our Employment Opportunities page.

About the Position:  The IST Department formed in January 2016.  At that time, the District implemented its first helpdesk ticketing system, which now helps IST serve up to 185 end users.  Whether it is dealing with a break/fix or working on setup or configuration of district devices, the IT Technician I/II will play an active role helping to manage Districts devices.  Devices include workstations, servers, printers, wireless access points, and phones.
