The Planning Department oversees five major activity areas including Planning, Environmental Services, Housing Authority, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and the Village Business Improvement District (BID) and supports the Project Review Committee, Planning Commission BID Board, and City Council in their review of activities overseen by the Planning Department.
The ideal candidate will have a global and contemporary understanding of a Planning Department in an ever changing small agency environment. Five years of increasingly responsible experience in local government planning and community development including supervisory experience is required. The successful candidate will have the ability to react positively to situations and foster positive partnerships inside and outside of the organization.
