Situated in Southeast Los Angeles, the City of Cudahy (approximate population 24,000) is both a small city and part of a large metropolis. The City is currently seeking a strong and experienced administrator to serve as its City Manager. The ideal candidate will be an approachable, accessible, cooperative, and responsive problem solver who can demonstrate initiative and drive and a sincere desire to move Cudahy forward in order to successfully meet the complex challenges of the future. Any combination of education and experience which may provide the required knowledge and abilities and skills is qualifying. A typical way is completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public or business administration, finance, or a related field; and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in municipal government including five (5) years of management and administrative experience. The ability to speak Spanish is highly desirable. The annual salary for the City Manager is dependent upon qualifications.
