The City Attorney will provide a wide range of professional legal services to the City Council, City Departments, and various boards and commissions and to represent the City in litigation and other proceedings.  The ideal candidate must possess an equivalent to a minimum of seven years of professional legal experience with five years of experience working for a governmental agency including municipal or county counsel, special district counsel, or private law firm providing legal support to local government clients.  Must have an active membership in the State of Bar of California. Municipal experience is highly desirable.
