A new position reporting initially to the City Manager, the Chief Communications Officer will have the rare opportunity to design and implement a comprehensive communications program for this incredibly dynamic city.
The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial approach to building a cutting-edge program that surpasses local government norms and standards. He/she will be a self-starter who is energized by a fast-paced environment that rewards innovation and continuous improvement. Five years of increasingly responsible experience in public communications, public relations, marketing, or related field and a bachelor’s degree are required. Municipal and/or non-profit experience is desirable.
