Are you looking to take the next step in your career as an Engineer? The Town of Mammoth Lakes is looking for an Engineer at either the Assistant or Associate-level to join our Public Works Department. In this role, you will gain valuable experience working on a variety of public and private projects in Mammoth Lakes and you will get to work alongside a team of dedicated, hard-working professionals with a passion for our local community!

Additionally, you will have an exciting opportunity to assist in the development process for The Parcel, a 25-acre site purchased by the Town in 2018 as a location for affordable housing.

Assistant Engineer

$56,322 - $79,251 + a competitive benefits package

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree with major course work in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Two years of increasingly responsible civil engineering experience; experience in plan review, GIS, and project and construction management is preferred.
  • Possession of an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate is preferred.

Associate Civil Engineer

$69,676 - $93,373 + a competitive benefits package

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree with major course work in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Two years of experience at the level of Assistant Civil Engineer or higher.
  • Possession of a Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California is required.
