Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer/Administrative Services Director, this Assistant Director oversees the accounting and procurement activities of the department with the support of 28 staff.


The ideal candidate will be an experienced local government finance professional with impressive accounting expertise. An empowering and inclusive manager, he/she will have a history of being an exceptional mentor and innovative problem solver. Superior interpersonal and communication skills will also be expected. At least eight (8) years of relevant experience, which include five (5) years of management experience, and a Bachelor’s degree are required. CPA certification and/or a Master’s degree is preferred.
