A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be a Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration or closely related field. A Masters' Degree in public administration is desired. A minimum or three years increasingly responsible administrative experience in a municipal government is qualifying. Salary range for this position is $152,000 to $198,000, DOQ and is supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package including CalPERS retirement.
