The San Joaquin County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk's Office is looking to add professional Appraiser's to our team! This is an excellent opportunity for college graduates to begin an exciting and rewarding career with opportunities for growth and advancement. This is the entry level position in the 4-tiered Appraiser series. As an Appraiser I you will learn to perform both office and field work in the appraisal of real property for tax assessment purposes. After a year of successful experience, there is opportunities to promote up the ladder.
To qualify for this position you must possess a bachelor's degree and a valid driver's license. Within your first year of employment you will be required ot obtain your Appraiser's Certificate issued by the State Board of Equalization.
