The Human Services Department seeks an experienced individual to become their Administrative and Quality Improvement Section Manager in the Family, Youth & Children (FYC) Division.
FYC is an organization committed to the ongoing improvement of services and outcomes for children and families in Sonoma County. This commitment is reflected in the 5 year System Improvement Plan, which provides a strategic road map for child welfare services for the period of 2014-2019. This includes the goals of the recently implemented Continuum of Care Reform (CCR), which is mandated by AB 403 legislation and by the State of California. CCR seeks to transform the foster care system by reducing the use of congregate care placement, ensuring that children are placed in a family setting, and that they ultimately have a permanent home through adoption or guardianship.
In support of the System Improvement Plan and CCR, the Administrative and Quality Improvement Section Manager facilitates the implementation of major programmatic changes, provides leadership to the Division, and ensures delivery of high quality services by establishing practice changes and evaluating agency progress.
