Eastvale Names New City Manager

Eastvale’s acting city manager is assuming the permanent job of chief executive.

Bryan Jones was unanimously approved by the City Council on Wednesday, Nov. 14. He’ll earn a base salary of $210,000, plus a $600 monthly car allowance and $100 per month for cell phone and home internet.

Jones has served as acting city manager since June when former city manager Michele Nissen left to join the City of Corona. Jones was hired as Eastvale’s assistant city manager in April. He has been credited with leading an expansion of City Hall offices, as well the implementation of a new Strategic Planning Goal Setting process.

“Bryan is a hardworking and trustworthy leader who delivers a strong strategic outlook to help guide our community,” Mayor Clint Lorimore said in a press release. “I have enjoyed working with Bryan and have had the pleasure of watching him build upon the positive momentum we’ve created in our City. I look forward to continuing to work with Bryan, the City Council, and our outstanding team at City Hall to best serve our residents and businesses.”
