Lompoc Assistant City Manager Headed for Selma

Lompoc’s assistant city manager Teresa Gallavan is stepping down next week, having accepted the top administrator position in Selma. Gallavan will assume management of the San Joaquin Valley city on Wednesday, October 11.

Gallavan has been with Lompoc for more than seven years and served for a short time as interim city manager following the departure of Patrick Wiemiller. Selma’s city council voted to hire her in August.

“I am thankful to have been a part of the City of Lompoc’s progress these past seven years,” said Gallavan. “There are so many talented and caring people in the community, and I know they will continue to do good things for the betterment of Lompoc.”
