Move Over, San Francisco. Sacramento is the New Millennial Hub.

Sacramento, California is now the No. 1 destination for millennials looking to settle down in California.

Take that, Stephen Colbert!

The new rankings come from, which used Census Bureau data to find out which states and cities the bulk of millennials are flocking to these days.

“In total, around 10,000 millennials came to Sacramento from elsewhere in California, while only 5,600 left Sacramento for another part of California,” according to SmartAsset. “After tallying up millennials immigrating and millennials emigrating, our data shows that Sacramento received about 6,700 millennials.”

That makes Sacramento the most popular city in the Golden State for people born between 1981 and 1997. It also makes Sacramento the third most popular city nationwide behind Seattle, Washington (No. 1) and Columbia, South Carolina (No. 2).

San Jose also made the list at No. 7.
