South Pasadena has named a new city manager after concluding an extensive search led by recruitment firm Peckham & McKenney. Stephanie DeWolfe, deputy city manager for West Hollywood, is scheduled to assume the top administrator position in South Pasadena on Nov. 6, 2017.

“I am excited to be part of team South Pasadena,” said DeWolfe. “I have always loved South Pasadena and I am looking forward to spending even more time in this wonderful community.”

DeWolfe has more than three decades of experience in the public sector, including a keen familiarity with planning and community development matters. Her work in West Hollywood has been “first rate,” said its mayor John Heilman.

Before joining West Hollywood, DeWolfe held several positions in the City of Pasadena as well.
